About Accessible Boating

Accessible Boating Association was founded as a charity in 1986 by Mildred Stocks, who still takes an active part in the organisation.

We operate on the Basingstoke Canal, with our boats moored at Colt Hill, Odiham.

We work closely with the Basingstoke Canal Society, who maintain and improve the canal and its facilities.

We receive a great deal of support from Galleon Marine LLP, who provide moorings for our boats, and who manage bookings of our holiday boat, Madam Butterfly, on our behalf.

In 2021, we were delighted to receive the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service
