It was an absolutely wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The crew were incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about their work.
The boat was gorgeous and it made a lovely change to see the canal from the perspective of the water, having only seen it from the tow path before.
It's fantastic that this activity is available and accessible for wheelchair users throughout the year. I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to come along on the day and experience it for myself!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Steve for your help in arranging our lovely day on Dawn celebrating the life of my late Dad, Neil. The sun shone for us all day and I think Dad would have thoroughly approved of one last voyage up the Basingstoke Canal.
It was really great to get on the tiller of a narrow boat again after so many years, which brought back memories of childhood holidays on various waterways. The boat (named after mum) was faultless and if anyone fancies an afternoon of relaxation watching to world go by at 3mph, I wholeheartedly recommend it!
Thanks again, I'm sure we'll be back again.

I booked a trip on Dawn on 1st Sept with two clients in wheelchairs - a 95 year old and her 100 year old sister. They both enjoyed the trip despite the lack of sun. The crew were great, made us feel very welcome and comfortable, explained the facilities and allowed all who wished to a chance to helm. So many seniors and younger disabled lose access to the stunning areas that we live in. Accessible Boating Association allow them to tap back in to that environment with ease and comfort. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely day and I'll definitely be recommending your services through the many disabled groups that I am part of.
