Welcome to the Accessible Boating Association

Unpredicatle low water levels in the canal at the moment risk short-notice cancellations.

ABA has resumed taking bookings
and will do our very best to continue running trips,
but warn that trips can only be finally confirmed
after we have done a water level check the day before.

Please contact ABA bookings on 07934 926683 if you have a question.

The low and variable water level stems from incomplete remedial works
earlier this year to a leaking embankment and unpredictable rainfall.

If there are any developments we will post an update.

Accessible Boating Association (ABA), a Charity managed by unpaid volunteers, invites disabled people and those with mobility or socialising difficulties to enjoy day trips or longer cruises with carers, family and friends on our two specially-equipped boats on the Basingstoke Canal from Colt Hill Wharf, Odiham, Hampshire, UK.

Day Trips

Take a day trip on Dawn, which carries up to 10 passengers and two crew and is equipped with an accessible toilet plus full wheelchair access to covered accommodation.
